Recent pop-up museums in Asda were a great success.
On 30th November and 7th December 2017, Newton Abbot Museum was out in the town!
Shoppers at Asda were delighted to see the pop-up museum in the foyer of the supermarket. As well as getting hands-on with a selection of museum objects, people were also asked for their opinion on the concept designs for the new museum.
Over 90 people stopped to view the designs and to let us have their feedback. The ideas and suggestions gathered have now been passed to the museum designers as part of the development process.
The photograph shows museum volunteers Marian Jenkins and Pat Wakefield who were on hand to gather comments from shoppers on the designs.
