Conservation in Action: Stained Glass at Newton's Place

Ever wondered how the experts go about repairing and conserving historic glass in listed buildings? Now's your chance to find out!

Steve Clare of Holywell Glass is one of the conservators working on the Newton's Place building. He will be giving a FREE talk as part of the project.

The photograph shows Daniel Hearn of Holywell Glass working on the stained glass front window of Newton's Place, the former St Leonard's Church.

He is part of a team of dedicated and passionate conservation professionals, lead by our speaker Steve Clare. Their work includes conservation at Windsor Castle, King’s College, Cambridge and Winchester cathedral amongst others.

No booking required for the talk - just turn up. Donations for the project are welcomed.

Disabled car parking only at the church please due to limited spaces. Other cars to use the cattle market car park. Venue is 2 minutes walk via the pedestrian crossing and pedestrian lane to Fisher Rd, then up Waverley Rd to the church.
